  • The workshop conducted under the aegis of MEITY,IITM and IIITDM shall be free of cost.

  • The organising institute shall provide required materials,boarding and lodging.

  • The workshop shall be conducted between May 12 to 22 from 9.30 a.m to 5.30 p.m at institute premises.

  • Maximum number of participants shall be 50 with a limit of 3 per institute.

  • Selected candidates at the time of reporting are expected to submit a NOC from their HODs.

  • Registration for the workshop should be done only online using the registration link given above.

  • Last date for registration is April 16,2018

  • Hostel accomodations shall be available from May 11 to May 23,2018

We shall offer two 10-day Faculty Development Programmes exclusively for faculty members of colleges, universities and professionals employed in private/Govt. Organizations, in areas related to information security. The end product of this FDPs is to create talent pool that would in turn create a much larger pool of information security trained professionals in their respective organizations. The programme shall be offered free of cost.


In the light of the growing importance of information security in all walks of life and its global emergence it is vital to have indigenous capability in terms of research technology and solutions to protect the critical infrastructure and complexities involved in securing information communication networks, cyber and more.


The global scenario has undergone a sea change in terms of threat perceptions and vulnerabilities which is further complicated by emergence of newer technologies. The challenges include possibility of espionage, targeted and deliberate attacks and difficulties in traceability in the cyber world , changing and destroying valuable information, and thus potentially causing risk and unestimated losses to the national security, economic growth and public safety.


Training and development are inseperable in an ever changing and fast paced world.A well-trained and well-informed work force is one of the most powerful weapons in ensuring information security in an organisation.
