I. Procedure for Ph.D Admission online Fee Payment (Before Login)
1. GO TO:
2. Select SB Collect -> Classic Version / New Version Menu.
3. Click Check Box to Accept terms and Conditions.
4. Click PROCEED Button.
5. Select TAMIL NADU from the State of Corporate/Institution Drop Down Menu.
6. Select EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS from the Type of Corporate/Institution Drop Down Menu.
7. Click GO Button.
8. Select IIITD&M KANCHEEPURAM A/C from the Educational Institutions Name Drop Down Menu.
9. Click SUBMIT Button.
10. Select Ph.D APPLICATION FEES from the Select Payment Category Drop Down Menu.
11. Please enter correct particulars including application amount to be paid. Application Fee for Ph.D. (1) SC/ST/PD/Female candidates Rs. 125/- (2) Others (GEN/OBC) Rs. 250/-
12. Click Submit Button.
13. IMPORTANT:Note your Online Transaction UTR / DU Number,Date and Amount, to Enter Those details in the Payment section of Ph.D online application portal.In case of any difficulty, please contact 044-27476323 or email to
II. Registration
1. Click Register button on Ph.D Application Portal Homepage.
2. This will take you to the "IIITDM Ph.D Admission Portal User Registration Form".
3. Enter your email Address with Password which you want to register with the portal.
4. Before choosing the Password , Read the instructions carefully given in the Registration Page.
III. Photograph Specifications
1. Image size must be below 50 KB.
2. Image format must be JPEG / JPG.
IV. Login for Registered Users
1. Registered Applicant should click Login on Ph.D Application Portal Homepage.
2. Type your Registered email Address and Password as registered with " IIITDM Ph.D Admission Portal ",and Click 'Login'.
V. Filling of ONLINE Application by the Registered Applicant (After login)
1. First, Select the Mode of Registration & Broad Area and click Apply.
2. Enter General details, Education and Experience, Research Area, Payment Details, Photo, valid gate score (if available) etc.,
3. You can preview your application, after you filled all the Mandatory fields.
4. ONLINE Application will be processed only if 'Submit' Button is clicked.
5. Once the applicant Submitted the Application, they can’t edit the application again.
6. VERY IMPORTANT: Please note that application forms will NOT be considered for further processing if the Applicant does not Submit the application form Finally, even if the applicant has filled it completely along with Payment Details.
7. After login, Candidate can download their Submitted applications by clicking the Download menu on the home page.
8. Do not keep the page idle for more than 30 minutes, otherwise the session will expire.
9. No need to send the hard copy of your application form.
