Research Scholars Day (RSD) was instituted in 2018 with the vision to create awareness and discussion in academic research.It is celebrated every year on the National Science Day - 28th February. RSD 2023 is the sixth edition of the yearly event at IIITDM Kancheepuram. Eminent academicians and industry R&D professionals from various fields of engineering and sciences will deliver keynote addresses in current research areas, and share their experiences to motivate the scholars. The event is a platform for research scholars to display their research, to promote discussion and dialogue and to share their work with their peers, students and faculty of IIITDM within and outside their specialization. Institute faculty as well as external academic and industry experts give their valuable comments and suggestions during this occasion to encourage scholars. RSD provides an environment for faculty and scholar interaction and helps in the development of multidisciplinary research, elevating awareness and appreciation of the institute's research efforts by disseminating information and research ideas. This event celebrating research is made successful by the team effort of the administration, faculty and research scholars.
